An upper GI endoscopy can also be used to identify GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease), Celiac disease, Crohn's Disease, infections, tumors, inflammation and ulcers.
Colonoscopy

A colonoscopy also allows your gastroenterologist to look for any problems in your colon such as inflammation, ulcers and bleeding.
Capsule Colonoscopy
A non-invasive procedure that examines the large intestine using a small, disposable camera. A capsule endoscopy camera sits inside a vitamin-sized capsule. After it is swallowed, the camera takes pictures of the organs in the body that food and liquid travels through.
